Effectiveness
Flosom’s ingredients are backed by published medical studies like this1 from 2019 which concluded: “The Serenoa repens [saw palmetto] extract was effective, safe, well-tolerated, and clinically and statistically superior to placebo in the target LUTS/BPH population.”*
In an open-label pilot study of Saw Palmetto Extract (SPE) combined with a broad-spectrum Hemp Extract (CBD) for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS), 16 patients were recruited, and 13 patients’ data were analyzed from 3 different Urology clinics across South Florida. The mean IPSS2 (International Prostate Symptom Score) at start was 20.8 (severe). After 4-8 weeks of Flosom, mean IPSS was 12.6 (moderate). The improvement (8.2 points) was statistically significant with a one-tail (p=0.0019) and two-tail test (p=0.0038).
