About the Presenter

Jared Wallen, MD, is a urologist at YOU & WEE Urologic Surgery & Wellness in Sarasota, Florida. His goal is to help patients experience a better quality of life by resolving acute urological problems and utilizing state-of-the-art treatments.

Dr. Wallen grew up in Illinois, and attended Rush Medical College where he was able to travel to Guatemala to work in clinics to gain field experience and learn medical Spanish.

Dr. Wallen completed his surgical internship and residency in urologic surgery at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. During his residency, Dr. Wallen worked directly with Rafael E. Carrion, MD and had the opportunity to work with and learn from various other experts in the field including Dr. Paul Perito, Dr. Steve Wilson, Dr. Gerard Henry, Dr. John Mulcahy, Dr. Tariq Hakky, Dr. Robert Valenzuela, and many others.
