Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone
Sermorelin injections simulate the secretion of chemicals to the body that stimulate the release of growth hormone from the body. This medication does not cause the body to stop making its own growth hormone, as growth hormone injections do, and works by boosting the bodies natural ability to release growth hormone.

Sermorelin is a 29 amino acid secretagogue, meaning it stimulates and enhances the secretion of growth hormone produced and stored in the pituitary gland.
The real benefit to using Sermorelin Injections over injectable growth hormone is that injected growth hormone will limit your body’s ability to make its own growth hormone, while Sermorelin works synergistically with the body’s secretary mechanisms to enhance the release of the growth hormone that your body has made but would not have otherwise been released at an elevated level.
As we age, endogenous release of growth hormone from the pituitary decreases causing a myriad of symptoms people refer to as “feeling old”. Symptoms include tiredness lack of strength, mental cloudiness, and a decrease in stamina (sexual and otherwise).
Patients who have these symptoms should contact their physician to see if they are a candidate for Sermorelin therapy.
Clinical studies have shown that Sermorelin increases the release of growth hormone by the pituitary gland and does not stop the body’s ability to produce growth hormone.1
