Dr. Bryan Pham is a native Texan; he grew up in Arlington, Texas where he earned his undergraduate degree in biology summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington. Growing tired of the small suburban city, he decided to move to Houston and completed his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. He then departed Texas and completed his urologic residency at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Pham is a general urologic surgeon with specific interests in robotic and minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of benign and malignant conditions. He is trained in the da Vinci surgical system but understands that surgery is not “one size fits all,” and should be tailored to each individual patient’s needs.
Dr. Pham is excited to serve the community in Houston, where he considers home. He advocates for thorough patient education and believes it is the foundation for optimal results from both medicine and surgery. He encourages questions from patients and is devoted to lifelong learning.
Dr. Pham strongly believes there is a lack of awareness for men’s health and advocates for comprehensive care for men. He understands how difficult it can be to coordinate multiple clinic visits and the effect it can have on your personal life. Together with other physicians spanning multiple specialties, he aims to create a clinic for men to minimize the impact of multiple visit and maximize the efficiency of your time.
When he is not devoting his time to his patients, Dr. Pham enjoys running, weight training, video games, fishing, and spending time with his French bulldog

From an early age, Dr. Kaye knew he would become a physician. He has had a lifelong fascination with how the body functions and how we can use diet, medicine, and the natural substances all around us to enhance our health. These substances may be bioidentical hormones and peptides, extracts from the patient’s own blood (Platelet Rich Plasma), natural medicines derived from plants, vitamins, or nutrients. Joseph Kaye, M.D. was raised on an organic farm, which instilled in him an awareness of the importance of healthy, locally grown food and a proper diet. Today, he has a strong emphasis on diet in his practice and operates a highly successful weight-loss program.
In addition, Dr. Kaye has trained extensively in traditional allopathic medicine, completing residencies in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine and is board-certified in both Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine as well as Anti-Aging Medicine and Integrative/Functional Medicine. He has cared for over 15,000 patients in his career thus far. He completes at least 50 hours of continuing education per year to keep abreast of current medical care.
At his current Integrative and Functional Medicine practice, Dr. Kaye merges natural and traditional medicine, with a focus on weight loss, bioidentical hormone replacement, sports nutrition, mood, and neurological disorders, a reversal of chronic disease, anti-aging medicine, preconception medicine, and detoxification. We also offer cutting edge treatments such as platelet-rich plasma to improve skin and hair and sexual function (P-Shot, O-Shot, Vampire Facial, Vampire Hair) and the Gainswave therapy for erectile dysfunction. Dr. Kaye dedicates his practice to guiding his patients through the process of healthy aging and helping them to alleviate or reverse chronic illness.
Dr. Kaye helps women and men find relief from symptoms of hormonal imbalance such as low libido, weight gain, irritability, depression, hot flashes and loss of muscle mass. Dr. Kaye offers his patients bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and customized nutrition, supplement, and fitness programs as well as standard and complementary medical treatment.
Using advanced laboratory, genomic, and physical testing that is not available to most physicians, Dr. Kaye and his associates attempt to identify unsuspected causes of chronic conditions, which can then be corrected, returning his patients to a state of wellness and vitality.
Dr. Kaye has trained in Mind-Body Medicine through Harvard and uses Meditation, Biofeedback, and Stress Management in his practice. Dr. Kaye practices what he advocates to his patients and can discuss his programs from his experience as a patient. He exercises daily, follows a prudent low-stress/nontoxic lifestyle, eats a healthy diet with appropriate supplementation and has been treated with BHRT since 2005.

Bakersfield urologist providing robotic surgery for kidney, prostate, and bladder cancer along with reconstructive procedures. Furthermore, treatment of kidney stones, testicular masses, varicoceles, erectile dysfunction, BPH and mens health. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you. I completed my fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in 2012, subsequently worked as a Kaiser Permanente physician for 3 years before joining Kern Medical in 2016. I believe in the idea of serving a community as a whole and making an impact in providing advanced urological care with compassion. It’s very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to know me.
My constant desire to better myself as a physician and refine my surgical skills landed me at the Cleveland Clinic from 2010-2012, where I completed my fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery and robotics. More than 80 percent of our procedures were cancer operations, providing me with a strong understanding of oncological surgery and overall treatment for complex cancers. Furthermore, I was exposed to a high volume of reconstructive procedures performed with minimally invasive techniques. Besides my surgical training at the Cleveland Clinic, I was involved in over 50 published research articles in peer reviewed journals along with a book chapter in Robotic Urological Surgery. I co-invented a deployable adjustable pneumatic occlusion device and wrote two IRB’s (Institutional Review Board) to conduct human research. Moreover, I served as a faculty training urologist in advanced surgical procedures at several courses in single port, robotic and cryosurgery.
In 2012, I joined Kaiser Permanente of Southern California, bringing me closer to my family and hometown. I worked for 3½ years in Kern County at Kaiser prior to transitioning to Kern Medical in January of 2016. The changeover allowed me to serve our entire community with advanced urological care in Kern County.
Recreationally, I enjoy playing basketball, exercising, water sports, scuba diving, and snow skiing
